Now free to claim and keep through the Epic Games Store is one of the most underappreciated games in recent memory. Marvel’s Midnight Suns is free right now and if I can’t convince you to try it when it will literally cost you nothing, I’m not sure what else I can do. The turn-based nature of the game combined with a December release date hampered Midnight Suns enough that it wound up not being anywhere near as successful as it should have been. The representations of the diverse cast of heroes are some of the best you’ll find in a Marvel video game and it is absolutely worth your time. This also appears to be the final game Epic is giving away for free during its mega sale.

Epic’s Mega Sale marches on and that means another game is now available for free. From 11 am EST on May 30 through to the same time on June 6, Chivalry 2 is free to claim and keep through the Epic Games Store. Battle against as many as 63 other players in a medieval setting as you hack and slash your way into battle, trying to survive and doing your best to ensure your enemies don’t simultaneously. Not only is Chivalry 2 currently free through Epic, but its King’s Edition and Special Edition content is 60 percent off if you want the full Chivalry sequel experience for much less than usual.
Farming Simulator 22 (May 23 - May 30)
Farming Simulator Like a lot of simulators, Farming Simulator 22 does exactly what it says on the box. It lets you become a farmer without actually needing to own your own farm. Drive tractors, tend to livestock, and do everything else a real farmer does. Like a lot of simulators, Farming Simulator 22 does exactly what it says on the box. It lets you become a farmer without actually needing to own your own farm. Drive tractors, tend to livestock, and do everything else a real farmer does. Epic’s second offering appears to have confirmed that this will not be a case of free games coming at us every day after week one, as was the case during its holiday giveaway. The second game being handed out for free in its Mega Sale is Farming Simulator 22 and while not getting a free game every day is bad news, free games sticking around for an entire week means less chance of missing out. If you want to know what it feels like you own and tend to your own farm without the added stress of mess, money, and caring for real animals, you can now pick up Farming Simulator 22 through the Epic Games Store for absolutely nothing.
Dragon Age: Inquisition (May 16 - May 23)
Dragon Age: Inquisition Dragon Age: Inquisition is the third in the popular action RPG series from BioWare, and serves as a sequel to the events of Dragon Age 2. You must travel the continent of Thedas in order to seal the ‘Breach’, a kind of portal that is sending demonic enemies into the world. Dragon Age: Inquisition is the third in the popular action RPG series from BioWare, and serves as a sequel to the events of Dragon Age 2. You must travel the continent of Thedas in order to seal the ‘Breach’, a kind of portal that is sending demonic enemies into the world. The first free game in the Epic Mega Sale was Dragon Age: Inquisition. A BioWare epic and the newest game in the well-loved Dragon Age series. Not only was 2014’s Game of the Year free through the Epic Games Store, but it’s the first time the sprawling RPG has been on Epic’s storefront at all. Since you don’t need to have played the first two Dragon Age games to enjoy Inquisition - although I’d strongly recommend it - if you have never played before, getting this game for free was the best place to start. Not only because it’s free, but because BioWare remains confident that its next Dragon Age Game, Dreadwolf will be here before the end of 2024, so still pick it up if you’re seeing this too late even though you will now have to pay for it. Even though Epic ramped up its holiday giveaways between the first week and the last by giving smaller games away each day, it has now confirmed that won’t be the case in its Mega Sale and it will only be giving away one free game per week. Midnight Suns appears to be the final free game in Epic’s mega sale as the clock counting down to the next giveaway has been removed.
