lay awake at night, grasp my heart by audiointerface, released 07 June 2024 1. patient (intro) 2. streets 3. by the sea 4. days of thunder 5. sappho 6. kid laroi meal freestyle 7. city of bears 8. love & death 9. facts 10. eulogy 11. i want to be frozen 12. nocturnal malaise 13. three short poems presented with musical accompaniment 14. astronomical swag / digital helmet 15. lay awake at night, grasp my heart 16. six months later 17. loud (outro) NYS#180 this album was born out of a necessity. during the past eight months i’ve gone through two monumental experiences i’ve never experienced before, which have altered my perception of just about everything. the effects still linger. in the midst of these two events, this album happened. it was like a lightning strike, forceful and unexpected. i had attempted making a solo album on atleast a few occasions before but those attempts always collapsed within a week or so. but this time, the urge was too powerful to be stopped. i had to make this album so my head wouldn’t fucking explode. i had to get all these feelings out and make them into something. it started flowing out of me like a river and eventually morphed into what you now see here. first and foremost, i made this album for myself, as a form of therapy, as a way to process everything that was going on in my head and also as a way to express and create something that was 100% myself, the person i am. but ofcourse i will be very happy if people get something out of it, so thank you to everybody reading this letter, if you will and listening to this album. i’d also like to thank my family, my friends, next year’s snow, everybody who i worked with on this album and especially everybody i was influenced by, be it in whatever form. i couldn’t have made it without all of you. cheers, audiointerface (eero) made from february 6th 2024 to may 21st 2024
