This is a game set in the mad, shifting chasms and ruins known as the Heart. Groups of desperate people journey into it looking for something important: secrets, truth, absolution or sanctuary. They band together for protection and companionship as they move through dangerous, lawless lands in search of ‘havens’ – places of shelter, however impermanent, that offer respite from the Heart. You are those people: delvers. You will trek deep into the twisting nightmare world of the Heart. It will form itself around you, and you will scar patterns into its flesh as it changes you. If you come back, you will not be the same. If you’re familiar with Spire, our previous game in the same universe, you’ll notice that Heart shares a lot with it. It uses a modified version of the resistance system that powers Spire and takes place directly beneath the eponymous city. Each book can inform the other when it comes to setting and inspiration, but Heart is a completely standalone game. You don’t need to know anything about Spire to play it. This is a a system which is like Darkest Dungeon and you don`t need to know anything or own the books. I created handouts for players and almost copy everything from the game necessary to roll20. So everything you need to know how to play to character creation is ready in the game with images and information! The game has unique system with fallout and beats I created special macros for everything so the game almost never stop! The world the world is different you can see everything while journey. Alien species, tech, no gravity realms and the best part is most of the places are homebrew the game push you to do that and every adventure is different. This will be your unique adventure! Maybe you want to be merchants who provide human or monster parts like eyes, hearts or arms to mages or maybe you are running from something as a group and you are here till you solve the problem or you are looking for old tech to understand heart or as simple it is you are just delvers who want to explore the heart! We will see what you want and the adventure will create around you. The world is live world so everything you do or not will be effecting the world. If you create new roads to travel deeper other people start to use them too and you will see it. Everything going around you has another life and it is alive! And what about gameplay, gameplay rules are different I will teach you if you are newbies and this game need lots of roleplay and thinking. There will be lots of fight with different kind of monsters that you never see before but be careful combat is deathly but the death is not the worst thing to happen your character!

How to prepare I prefer good mic where we can communicate together and before hand if you dont have you need to create free discord account and free roll20 account to play. We will keep everything on discord and roll20 What I provide I will bring the books, maps, dices and everything you need. Gameplay details The game features fantasy violence, spiders, and potential character deaths. Should you have any specific phobias or triggers, please let me know and I can make the appropriate adjustments. We use safety cards, and will have a “Lines and Veils” discussion during Session 0 to make sure everyone feels welcome and safe. Due to the improv nature of TTRPGs I cannot guarantee the absolute absence of any particular trigger, but I can guarantee that I will deal with them in a professional and caring manner. Heart is a game of wonder, horror, tragedy and humanity in the face of inhumanity. Each player character is fundamentally doomed, as most of the high-level abilities kill the user when triggered. This isn’t a game about long-term exploration and growth. It’s about flawed, obsessive people making bad decisions and investigating a horrific undercity because they’re convinced that the answers they need might lie inside it.
